Saucy Pork Chops are a meal with a saucy attitude – apple saucy and soy saucy. The combination of these two flavors combine with pork chops to create a unique taste.

Servings: 6

Ingredients
6 medium lean Pork Chops
1 cup unsweetened Applesauce
¼ cup light Soy Sauce
1/8 tsp Onion Powder

Directions
Brown pork chops on both sides. Place in shallow casserole.
Combine remaining ingredients and spoon evenly over chops.
Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Remove cover and continue baking 15 minutes longer or until chops are tender.

Tips & Notes
There’s no such thing as a typical or average applesauce as far as carbohydrates or calories are concerned. Some sauces are high-fat, some are low-fat. Other sauces are high in carbs, yet others contain minimal carbohydrate. So when buying commercial sauces, check the ingredient information on the food label, especially the carb-total. Some brands include added sweeteners, corn syrups as well as starchy fillers.
