This Cabbage Salad is proof that sometimes the most simple things are the best. This salad falls into that category – it’s so simple to prepare and tastes amazing.

Cabbage Salad Prep Time: 10 min
Ready In: 10 min

Servings: 6

6 cup chopped Cabbage
3 medium Green Onions, chopped
3 tbsp Toasted Sesame Seeds
¼ cup Rice Vinegar
1 tbsp Sugar or the equivalent in artificial sweetener

Mix the cabbage, green onions and sesame seeds in a large bowl.
Combine rice vinegar with sugar. Add to cabbage and toss well.
This is ready to serve or you can refrigerate it for several hours before serving.

Tips & Notes
To save time, use a food processor for chopping the cabbage.
One serving is a good source of fiber.
For variations on this salad, try:
Cabbage and Chicken Salad – Just before serving, add 2 cups of cooked chicken.
Cabbage and Shrimp Salad – Just before serving, add 2 cups of cooked and cleaned shrimp. Frozen shrimp that has been thawed is preferred over canned.
